One size does not fit all. We listened, and we are changing
how pain is managed.

We believe that cultural diversity makes our world beautiful. While we share a common humanity, everyone's relationship with chronic pain is entirely unique. Our personal ideas regarding pain management are shaped by our environments and cultural beliefs. In South Asian, Arab, and African cultures, for instance, community gatherings are where people connect and find support. We believe that effective pain management does not just happen in clinics or hospitals, households and neighborhood networks are equally important.

Our research shows that within these communities, trusted peers and individuals living with chronic pain can guide and empower each other to take better health decisions.

We have noticed that a lack of clear information about pain often triggers anxiety, impacting both mental well-being and physical health outcomes. Many individuals rely purely on what they feel about their symptoms. Through our structured learning programme, we support your transition from merely feeling pain to deeply understanding it, so that you could take control back in your hands.

The My Pain, My Way initiative builds the confidence and capability of individuals to take control of their condition through:

Our Pilot Program: Greater Manchester

We are initially launching and testing this initiative with South Asian communities across Greater Manchester in partnership with the Bury Active Women’s Centre. Key programme features include:

Our Vision for Health Equity

We are dedicated to supporting communities with higher pain management needs. As the non-profit arm of Pacentrica Health Ltd, our mission is to give back to the communities that need it most. After our pilot, we will adapt this model for other ethnic minority groups across the UK and scale the program to support populations in low- and middle-income countries.
